Friday (May 1st)

AP Psychology:  Today we took our final practice exam of the year to prepare for Monday’s AP Exam!

Psychology:  Today we talked about our results on the Kiersey Temperament Sorter and then we discussed a new model of personality, the Big Five.  Notes on the Big Five can be found here.  We identified specific traits that go with each of the Big Five Factors on the notes.  If you were absent, you can borrow a friend’s copy, or you can fill it out based on the results of your personality inventory that we will be taking on Monday.

Thursday (April 30th)

AP Psychology:  Today we worked on a review packet which can be found here.

psychology:  Today we are taking the Kiersey Temperament Sorter during class, and you need to write a 1-2 paragraph reflection on your results for homework.  It will be due at the start of class tomorrow.  If you were absent from class, you can take the test found here as an approximation for the class that we took in class.  Write your reflection based off of your results from this website.

Tuesday (April 28)

AP Psychology:  We discussed social psychology.  The PowerPoint from today can be found here, and the notes from today can be found here and here.

Psychology:  Today we began looking at the Trait approach to personality and discussed the Kiersey Temperament Sorter.  Notes can be found here and you can fill out information on the 4 dimensions (Extroversion/Introversion, Sensing/Intuiting, Thinking/Feeling, Judging/Perceiving) through reading the links on this website. Tomorrow we will take the Kiersey Temperament Sorter during class.

Monday (April 27th)

AP Psychology:  We spent the day reviewing the exam over abnormal psych/treatment.

Psychology:  Today we finished up the humanistic approach to personality by discussing Carl Roger’s Person-Centered Approach.  Notes can be found here.
