US History: Today we talked about white privilege and its effect on our society. There was no homework for the weekend.
Psychology: Today we are talking about Freudian defense mechanisms. Notes can be found here. There was also a homework assignment on the back of the notes (for which I don’t have a digital copy). We will discuss this assignment at the beginning of class on Monday.
US History: Today we discussed the homework reading and watched a video. In the video we identified examples of both prejudice and the discrimination that it led to. The Video can be found below.
Psychology: We applied Freud’s components of personality to a favorite kid’s book, The Cat in the Hat. There is an assignment that went along with this that is due tomorrow. See me if you were absent today.
